Charles asks…

What kind of electronic piano can be plugged into your copmputer for recording?

im hoping for a keyboard/piano that is not too expensive. It would be a gift for someone who wants to record onto their computer. Thanks!

admin answers:

Just about any one will work, but it needs to have a “LINE OUT” plug in the rear. Line out plugs are constant low volume, as not to damage whatever you’re pluging into. Then you plug into the “LINE IN” in the sound card, at the rear of your computer. You will also need the elect.cord with the correct “ends” that plug into your piano (keyboard), too your computer..
Your retailer will help you.. Also you may need a mixing board to balance your tones.

Michael asks…

if you could play piano, keyboard, guitar and electronic guitar efficiently?

which new instrument would you learn to play?

admin answers:

Actually a fairly interesting question….
I actually do most of that
(except piano..keyboards, yes, piano not so much, a completely different technique is needed for piano)
I also am a lead singer and play drums.

I thought a bit about which would be the most useful instrument besides those.
I figure the Saxophone would be the best instrument to know, because of it’s useful applications to modern music. Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen , many others feature saxophone as well as blues music.

So the Sax would definitely be the most useful.

Richard asks…

What are some good things to look for when buying a electronic keyboard?

It would not be for professional use. Just personal and for a person learning to use the keyboard/piano. Just wondering if any brands are best to look out for or good features.
